Inaugural release

First time releasing a ttrpg!

Willow Trees, Falling is meant to be a creative experience with friends that can be assembled with minimal supplies and effort. Alternative options for different colors of ink to distinguish different players might also be different patterns (if someone doesn't mind drawing in x's, dotted lines, etc) or colors of paper if you have that, but not different colored markers or pens on hand. The game is centrally designed around creating a map with your fellow players, with each page made by a different person and then connected together after the fact. Players then explore the map and their characters' motivations, with one player volunteering to act as the Wayfinder and Timekeeper of Fate.

The beginning of the game should take about 30 minutes total- 10 to draw map pieces, 10 to make characters, and the in between to get the map assembled and everyone ready to go. After that, exploration begins, and can last as long or short as players like. The game is intended to either support a short roleplaying campaign, or a one-shot party night style game.

For mechanics, I wanted to lean on a simplified system, comparable to Sexy Battle Wizards. My hope is that the coinflip resolution is very quick, and allows for players to continue right along once the game gets rolling! Happy playing!
